Sit back and take a moment to discover a world of magic, of design ideas, of destinations ready to inspire your next adventure; or perhaps simply surround yourself with a glimpse of a beautiful vase sitting on a corner table wrapped in the evening light. Come in, discover; you will see... It's good for the soul.

As much as I would love to post on my blog weekly, life has a beautiful way of getting in my way and stretching that one week into six or so. But do take a look. A new creative adventure began when I started blogging in August 2011. The blog allows me to have a diary version of this site in a way, moving and growing with the new ideas that inspire me as I continue to play with photos, paper scraps and vignettes of my surroundings.

Very excited to have reopened my Etsy site. This time around, it is full of brocade ribbons, tea stained hang tag bundles, colorful paper scraps for junk journals and scrapbooking. I also offer variety packs of craft ribbons, vintage ephemera, and Victorian decoupage die-cuts.

• about me

I was born in the south of France, then at 6, my father's career took us to Pakistan, Iran, South Africa, and eventually to Singapore where I completed high school. My parents continued moving, but I settled in California  after coming to the Bay Area for college. Even after 30 years here, I love going back to my roots to recharge my life, my dreams, my art, my spirit. I feel most at home when I mix the light and feel of Provence, the warmth and quiet pace of the Mediterranean along with an asian affinity especially that of India and China. I am known to mix my dreamy mood with bold colors, textures of old and new, art-inspired photography, travel and nostalgia.

Several years ago, I created a website with Apple's iWeb (now obsolete!) as a portfolio of the things I like to create and do. Today I turn to Squarespace as my platform to showcase the myriad of projects I have created in between a 'day-job', raising two daughters, and fitting the rest of life in.

If you ever venture out into the vast foothills of the Himalayas, you will quickly understand why the region caught the eye of my parents many many years ago. They have returned to northern India every year for the last 25+ years. It is there that my father paints his incredible canvasses. His paintings show the magnificence of the mountains surrounding him. He paints portraits of young and old with beauty in their souls; he paints Tibetan temples with their sacred auras in regal ochres and burnt ambers. He wraps his paintings of flowers in an enchanting timeless beauty.

For several years, I used Instagram just for its editing filters - then late 2016, I realized one could follow as tight a circle as one wanted - there is a multitude of visionary artists, interior designers, adventure travelers whose work inspires me to keep reaching for my own stars.
